Camp GLOW/Camp RESPECT
Camp GLOW (Girls Leading Our World) Jamaica, is a 4-day, 3-night summer camp, which will be held in August 2019, for female teenagers from rural and low-income communities around Jamaica. The Camp aims to lead campers through activities that focus on leadership skills, self-development, and increased awareness of their roles in their communities. Camp GLOW came to Jamaica in 2016 thanks to volunteers of Peace Corps Jamaica, who recognized a need and Let Girls Learn, a US Government initiative started by First Lady Michelle Obama
SOME OF OUR
Testimonials
Participating in th REAP Entrepreneurship Project is one of the best decisions I have ever made. Thanks to Ms Lanisia Rhoden, her team, the sponsors, the instructors and everyone who helped us to link our purpose, it is very much appreciated. I would like every young woman to get the opportunity that I got. I want to encourage the sponsors to please continue to help change the lives of our women. It is said that when a woman is educated she imparts it to her family and her community. Thanks for helping me to really believe in myself to have the confidence to stand up and address a crowd, to be independent and to be better able to take care of my family.

R.E.A.P. Entrepreneurship Project
I participated in the REAP Entrepreneurship Programme and it was the best business investment an entrepreneur can make. It was an insightful experience that highlighted a lot of possibilities and gave me limitless exposure. The programme was properly organized with highly skilled instructors who exceeded my expectations. I have participated in other entrepreneurial programmes however they did not match up to REAP which not only imparted theory but actually walked you through the application of the theory. Every entrepreneur and aspiring ones should be able to access the REAP Programme.

Young Women/ Men of Purpose (ywop/ymop)has greatly impacted my life in that it made me realize that being a mother of four beautiful children should not deter me from achieving my dreams, inspite of challenges. The mentorship and guidance received through the organization, is one of the main reasons why I am currently pursuing my dream career as an Early Childhood Practitioner, positively impacting the lives of the children within my community for the past four years.
