The Empowering Women to: Realise, Embrace, Achieve your Purpose (R.E.A.P. II) is a capacity
building project geared towards the holistic development of 40 women and girls at risk in the parish of Manchester and surrounding communities. The project will provide life skills and job readiness training focusing on areas such as English and Basic Communications Skills, Basic Mathematics, Computer Skills, Career Development, Personal Development and Employability Skills for young women and girls who are unemployed, not enrolled in school, victims of abuse (domestic violence, sexual and physical abuse) or teenage pregnancy. The
main aim of the project is to help these women and girls to overcome challenges, preparing them to be gainfully employed, to start their own businesses or to enroll in a learning institution and become agents of change within their families and communities. The training programme is fully sponsored for participants, through funding received from the Canada Fund for Local Initiative (CFLI).
Participants will receive:
